The Posthuset Expedition Lodge - Basecamp Senja
Welcome to stay in The Posthuset, an ideal location, right in the waterfront of the exciting Bergsfjord.
The old Posthuset at Skaland on the far side of Senja, about 60km from Finnsnes – has recently been restored and converted into a cosy Lodge. The Posthuset has an ideal location, right in the waterfront of the exciting Bergsfjord.
It contains ten beds in the attic (sleeping alcoves), a long table in the kitchen and shared shower and toilet in the corridor. In addition, there is a nice open porch facing the fiord and an outside barbecue area.
The Posthuset is the base of the Senja-expeditions. In addition to this, the base had a Zodiac expedition boat that we use for exploring Bergsfjord.
