Posthuset Expedition Lodge and Tinebua cottage
Welcome to Basecamp Senja and to stay in Posthuset Lodge or Tinebua cottage, an ideal location, right in the waterfront of the exciting Bergsfjord.
The old Posthuset at Skaland on the far side of Senja, about 60km from Finnsnes – has recently been restored and converted into a cosy Lodge. The Posthuset has an ideal location, right in the waterfront of the exciting Bergsfjord.
It contains 9 beds in the attic (8 sleeping alcoves), a long table in the kitchen and shared shower and toilet in the corridor. In addition, there is a nice open porch facing the fiord and an outside barbecue area. Request and booking by mail post@basecampsenja.no.
The Posthuset Lodge is the base of the Senja-expeditions. In addition to this, the base have Zodiac expedition boats that we use for exploring Bergsfjord.
Tinebua
- a cabin next to the Posthuset Expedition Lodge at Skaland Senja
Tinebua is one room (15m2) and a connecting bathroom with shower and toilet. The main bed is 120 cm and it is possible to make an extra bed of the sofa. It is a kettle and a fridge in the room. No cooking possibilities in the cabin. Beautiful view and a nice garden.
