Northern Light and the Arctic Light

In the Senja region, you can see the Northern Lights from late August until April. Autumn offers warm days and “dry‑ground aurora,” while winter brings blue hours, snow‑covered mountains and clear polar nights. From September to April, the light shifts from colourful sunsets to the magical blue tones of the dark season – and throughout the entire period, the Northern Lights dance above fjords and mountains.
