Dog Sledding Day Trip

M-Husky is a small, family-run kennel in Målselv–Bardufoss. We only welcome one private group at a time, which gives you time to meet the dogs and take part in the whole experience from the beginning.

After a short introduction, you help harness the dogs and prepare the team before heading out on the trail. Guests normally share a sled in pairs, with one person driving and one riding as a passenger, and you can switch places along the way. If there are only two guests, you can choose to drive one sled each.

The complete visit normally lasts 4–5 hours. During the trip, we stop for a break, make a fire and enjoy a warm lunch while the dogs rest.

Our kennel is also our home, and the dogs are at the centre of everyday life here. We keep the kennel small so that each dog can receive individual care, and their health and well-being are an important part of how we plan both training and guest trips.


After the tour, there is still time to spend with the dogs, ask questions and learn more about life in the kennel.

M-Husky is located in Målselv–Bardufoss, 45 minutes from Finnsnes and around two hours from Tromsø and Narvik.
