Exclusive Arctic Husky Expedition for Two / 6 days

Join an exclusive 6-day dog sledding expedition through Dividalen and Øvre Dividal National Park. Limited to just two guests and one guide, this intimate wilderness journey takes you deep into the Arctic mountains, where each guest drives their own team of Alaskan Huskies while travelling and camping in remote backcountry terrain.
The trip starts at our home and kennel in Målselv, where you meet the dogs and learn the basics before heading into Dividalen.
Each guest drives their own team of 5–6 Alaskan Huskies and takes an active part throughout the expedition, from harnessing and feeding the dogs to setting up camp and preparing for the next day.
We spend three days travelling and camping in Dividalen, with parts of the route leading into Øvre Dividal National Park. Daily distances are normally around 20–50 km, depending on weather, snow and trail conditions.
Dividalen is a remote mountain valley with old forests, open terrain and a long history of reindeer herding and Sámi use. Once we leave the road behind, the journey becomes simple: dogs, sleds, camp and the landscape around us.
This is an active winter expedition, and you should be in good physical condition and prepared to help the dogs when terrain or conditions require it.
The complete adventure lasts 6 days / 5 nights and is limited to 2 guests per trip.
